Cleaning the Bathroom Sink
  • How long does a deep clean take?
On average, a clean will take approx. 3-4 hours. Of course, this depends on the size of the property and its overall condition.
  • Is a balcony included in the clean?
The balcony will be swept as part of the cleaning service. If the balcony is heavily soiled and requires a deep clean, this will cost an additional £60. This service is also available as a single service.
  • Is balcony and upholstery included in the clean?
Balcony, upholstery, oven and carpet steam cleans are charged separately. This is mainly due to the fact that every customer has different requirements. For example, we wouldn’t want you to pay for a deep clean which automatically includes the oven, if the oven does not require cleaning. This way our customers have a choice!
  • Do you provide an upholstery cleaning service?
Yes, we are able to professionally clean carpets/rug, sofas, armchairs etc.
  • How much notice do you require for the clean?
2-3 days notice is preferred, but it could be possible to get a clean on the date you require with less notice than this.
  • Do you clean walls and get rid of wall marks?
We do not recommend washing walls and do not include washing walls in our cleaning services. This is because walls can be severely discoloured or damaged, especially if the paint is water-based paint.
  • What kind of detergents do you use?
For sustainability, we use concentrated products to reduce impact on environment and wastage.
  • Do I have to clean the property before moving out?
Landlords expect their properties to be in the same condition it was when moved into. So, if the landlord has ensured the property is in a professionally clean state when you moved in, we recommend you also ensure the property is in a professionally clean state when moving out.
  • How do I prepare for your visit?
Ensure the property is cleared of all personal belongings; if that is not possible, try to move personal belonging into one area. Also, empty and defrost the fridge and freezer. If you have a permit for parking, please let us know as this saves huge amounts of time upon arrival.
  • Can you guarantee my deposit is returned?
Yes, we offer tenants a deposit return guarantee. So, if your landlord is not happy with the standard of clean (within 24 hours of our first visit) we will return to your property to rectify the exact cause for concern and ensure the cleanliness of the property is not the reason for any deposit dispute.
  • Do you offer a guarantee period for the clean?
Yes, we offer a return guarantee up to 48 hours after the clean is complete if your landlord raises any issues with the cleanliness of the property.
  • What is the difference between an end of tenancy clean and a deep clean?
In fact, this is the same service, yet the only difference is the deposit return guarantee on offer with the end of tenancy service.
  • Do I need to pay for parking, congestion or ulez charges?
Parking and Congestion charges are to be paid separately if applicable.
  • Do the team bring all equipment?
Yes, our deep cleaning service teams come fully prepared for the job.
  • Will you move my furniture?
We do not move furniture but will clean beneath the furniture if there is a space or gap to do so.
  • Would you move the furniture around?
We can move small items of furniture such as coffee tables, sofas and chairs as long as it is safe for the furniture and for the carpet cleaning technician.
  • What kind of detergents do you use?
The chemicals and products we use are safe for children, pets and are environmentally friendly. We use vacuums designed to produce 20% less noise, are 50% more energy efficient than most vacuums, and improve air quality by 30%. Even our microfiber cloths are suitable to be washed and reused many times over. Also, chemicals are free from acids and caustic substances.
  • Are the cleaning shampoos that you use hazardous for pets and children?
We use professional grade cleaning products that are specially formulated for safe use in a home environment. The solutions are 100% safe for pets and children. Safety data sheet can be provided on request.
  • How long will it take for my carpets to dry?
This will depend on a few factors: the type and thickness of the carpet, whether it is a warm day with the sun out and whether we are able to ventilate the room leaving windows and doors open among other things. Having said that, you can expect the carpets to take at least a few hours to dry so be sure to leave plenty of time to plan for a carpet steam clean. Expect up to 24 hours for it to be completely dry.
  • Can you guarantee all stains will be removed?
We can’t guarantee that every stain will be entirely removed! Our carpet cleaners are fully trained, certified and experienced professionals. The best result possible will be delivered using industry approved methods and products.
  • Will you move my furniture?
In a nutshell, yes. We will move most furniture to receptions/dining rooms. Generally, beds and heavier bedroom furniture is not moved; we can clean beneath beds where permitted and heavier furniture, in most instances, is not moved before or after the clean.
  • Does it leave a bad chemical smell?
No. We use solutions that are scented to leave a pleasant fragrance after cleaning. We can assure you there will be no foul smells. Wool carpets may smell a bit like a wet sheep after cleaning but that will dissipate within a few hours.
  • How do I prepare for your visit?
Please remove as much clutter and fragile items from the rooms to be cleaned. The more floor space cleared, the higher the standard of clean.
  • Can stains from my carpet be removed?
The honest answer is, we wouldn’t be able to tell you until we have more information about the stain. The single best point of advice is, if you are unsure, do not try to remove the stain yourself. Another factor to consider is the material of the carpet, for example, a synthetic or wool carpet will impact on success rate. A wide range of chemicals can be used to help remove stains on a synthetic carpet, however, a wool carpet can discolour (among other things) if the correct approach is not adopted. We are significantly more likely to remove an unspoilt, untouched stain as opposed to one which has been scrubbed or rubbed in anyway.
  • Should I vacuum after carpet cleaning?
For best results, yes – Only after the carpets are completely dry though.
  • How often should I get my carpets cleaned?
Carpet manufacturers recommend vacuuming your carpets at least once a week. If you have pets or small children vacuum daily. The recommended timespan for professional steam cleaning is between 6-18 months. It depends on the amount of foot traffic and the grime your carpets are subjected to.
  • What happens if my carpet or rug is damaged?
Although this has never happened during our years of service, we have insurance in place just in case the unlikely happens.
  • What types of carpets and rugs do you handle?
We handle all types of material but take each case individually.
